FAVORITE FOODS FOR A FALL CHARCUTERIE BOARD

The days are getting shorter and the temperature is starting to drop which means that fall is finally here. Although saying goodbye to summer is very bittersweet, breaking out those delicious fall foods makes the change of seasons even more exciting.


I don’t know about your home, but fall is the time when my family loves to gather around in the kitchen and eat hearty foods to fill our hearts and warm our bellies. I love to share my favorite seasonal foods and wanted to pass on the latest autumn items to make the perfect charcuterie board.


FALL CHARCUTERIE BOARD MUST-HAVES

1. FIGS - Figs are always top of mind when thinking of fall foods. Figs are so delicious and versatile. They pair well with a wide variety of cheeses, from sharp cheddar to crumbly asiago to creamy brie.


2. PERSIMMONS - Persimmons are another one of my fall favorites, I feel like they are underutilized but I’m here to shed some light on these beautiful fall fruits. I love persimmons for their gorgeous fall color, delicious taste, and unique star-like center.


3. ASIAN PEARS - Apples are abundant in the fall, but Asian Pears are our secret ingredient to a beautiful fall grazing board. Asian pears are a combination of flavors from both apples and pears. Not only do they bring a sweet, crunchy bite, but they make an excellent substitute for crackers. I love to slice them in rings from top to bottom as a fun way to serve them.


4. VEGGIES - Fall is also a great time to incorporate some fun with different colored cauliflower and radishes to bring in those beautiful fall colors.


Remember, the most important part of a beautiful fall charcuterie board is that it’s full of foods you and your loved ones will enjoy.
