Cozy Bites & Creative Pairings to Try at Home

As the leaves turn and the air chills, there’s something undeniably magical about fall, the cozy sweaters, flickering candles, and, of course, the flavors. Whether you're hosting a harvest gathering or just want to bring some seasonal charm into your weeknight wine-and-cheese routine, a fall-themed grazing table is a beautiful (and delicious) way to do it.

From roasted nuts to velvety cheeses and the warm spices of the season, here’s how we bring autumn to your table through our seasonal spreads —and a few creative pairings you can try at home.

Let’s start with the center point of any good grazing table- the cheeses

Fall is the time for rich, creamy, and earthy cheeses. Here are some cozy picks and what to pair them with:

Aged GoudaFlavor profile: Nutty, caramel-like, slightly crunchyPair it with: Sliced pear, honey-roasted almonds, and a drizzle of maple syrupDrink pairing: Bourbon or a dry cider

Triple Cream BrieFlavor profile: Luscious, buttery, slightly tangyPair it with: Fig jam, toasted walnuts, and rosemary crackersDrink pairing: Sparkling wine or Pinot Noir

Smoked Cheddar or Smoked Gouda Flavor profile: Savory, smoky, boldPair it with: Apple slices, grainy mustard, and pretzel crispsDrink pairing: Spiced ale or a smoky Scotch

The fruits that compliment the seasonal flavors are some of my favorites to use in the fall

Figs: Fresh or dried, they’re perfect with soft cheeses like goat or brie.

Apples & Pears: Slice thin for dipping or layering. Try varieties like Honeycrisp, Bosc, or Bartlett.

Pomegranate Seeds: Sprinkle for a pop of color and tart sweetness.

Meats that match the seasonal flavors

Fall calls for deeper, richer flavors here are some options we love to use and you can try

Prosciutto – wrap around pears or figs

Spiced salami – pairs great with pickled veggies or sharp cheese
